A family-run business
Five Star Catering is a third generation, family-run business. We are specialist mobile ice cream and food caterers.
We have successfully traded at shows, events and sites throughout the UK for over thirty years. During that time we have built an enviable reputation for professionalism, high standards and quality of service.
The business started from a single van in South London in the 1960s. We are now operating an extensive fleet of modern ice cream units and trailers at shows, events and tourist locations all over the country.
Assurance of high standards
Providing high quality food is very important at any event, regardless of its size. Customers' expectations of the food they wish to purchase are increasingly demanding.
Five Star Catering operates a quality management system that has gained
BS EN ISO 9001 certification. This certification includes aspects specific to mobile contract catering services.
In 2007, the responsibility for quality of service and products lies with an event's organisers. It is vital organisers have confidence in the contractors they appoint. The ISO 9001 certification gives that assurance.
